“Workers are beyond any geography due to their hard work and service,” he said. “The entire family is affected by the killing of a laborer, and today the only sponsor has been taken away from them by anti-social elements very mercilessly.”
Provincial ministers from Pakistan Muslim League-N and Pakistan Peoples Party were present at the press conference, where Mandukhel announced compensation for the martyred workers and medical facilities for the injured at Quetta Civil Hospital.
Speaker Balochistan Assembly Captain (R) Abdul Khaliq Khan Achakzai condemned the killing, labeling it a senseless violation of human life, social justice, and basic human rights.
“The brutality with which the so-called freedom fighters killed innocent Pashtuns cannot be condemned enough,” Achakzai said. “Freedom cannot be achieved through such cowardly acts.”
Achakzai asserted that Pakistan would continue its resistance against extremism and promised prompt action against the culprits.
“We will leave no stone unturned to protect the rights of workers,” he said. “In this moment of deep sorrow, we stand with the bereaved families.”
Achakzai offered condolences to the affected families and prayed for the martyrs.
“We pray to Allah Almighty to grant the martyrs a high place in Jannat al-Firdous and grant patience to the bereaved,” he said.
