Larkana: DCC meeting in Qamber, pledge to reverse malnutrition. An important meeting of District Nutrition Coordination Committee was held in Qamber under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner district Qamber_ Shahdadkot at DC office Qamber. The main agenda of which was malnutrition in the district and it was decided to make joint efforts to solve this important problem. On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized on the joint cooperation to deal with malnutrition in an effective manner. There is a dire need. The meeting was attended by various stakeholders including CSDS welfare organization, other NGOs, government departments like Livestock, Education, Health, PPHI, WFP, representatives of CSDS organization were also present in the meeting.

The main objectives of the session included a comprehensive assessment of ongoing malnutrition, presentation of progress reports, and close liaison with the DC Office and DCOAAP, emphasizing that malnutrition A concerted effort is needed to significantly reduce and raise awareness in the community.Divisional Coordination Officer Task Force Larkana Secretariat AAP Shehzad Ali while appreciating the spirit of joint cooperation in the meeting emphasized the importance of collective action to solve such critical issues to accelerate efforts to combat malnutrition. Awareness should be provided through campaigns in the community.
