In a bold daytime heist, motorcycle-riding robbers made off with Rs10 million from a businessman in the Gujjar Pura area of Lahore.
The victims, Ahsan and Umar, were in their car when the assailants intercepted them.
According to the First Information Report (FIR), the robbers stopped the vehicle and demanded cash.
The report states that the assailants forcefully took a bag containing Rs10 million from the men before fleeing the scene.
Local law enforcement has faced criticism for their slow response, as they arrived only after receiving reports of the incident. Following Ahsan’s complaint, authorities have opened a case against the unidentified thieves.
