Dar, Bangladeshi FM Voice Concern Over Middle East Situation

Pakistan and Bangladesh discuss Middle East tensions and stress the need for peace, stability, and stronger cooperation between the two countries.

Pakistan & Bangladesh – (Web Desk) – On Wednesday, Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar spoke with Bangladesh’s Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman about the fast-changing situation in the Middle East.

Both leaders shared their concern about rising tensions in the region. They said the current situation could affect peace and stability not only in the Middle East but also in nearby countries.

They also noted that if the tensions continue, the effects could spread further and create wider problems for the region and the world.

The DPM/FM spoke with Bangladesh foreign minister and while reaffirming their commitment to strengthening Pakistan-Bangladesh relations, both sides agreed to continue close engagement to advance bilateral and multilateral cooperation, the Foreign Office Spokesperson said in a press release.
