Danyal Zafar Announces Break After Reaching Breaking Point

In a message shared on his Instagram Story, Danyal explained that his demanding schedule had kept him travelling between different locations, leaving him with only a few days at a time to settle in one place.

The singer said juggling music recordings, live performances, acting projects and other professional responsibilities had taken a toll on him. He added that he had been advised to prioritise his health and take time off to rest and recover.

A picture showing an IV drip accompanied the message, in which Danyal indicated that he was temporarily putting his professional activities on hold.

Acknowledging the challenges of pursuing careers in both music and acting, he said it was time to follow the advice he had received and give himself an opportunity to regain his health. He concluded his message by expressing love for his fans and followers.

Danyal first gained wider recognition through Coke Studio Season 10 in 2017, when he performed the song “Muntazir” alongside Momina Mustehsan. He later released original tracks, including “Udh Chaliye” and “Julie”.

Alongside his music career, Danyal ventured into acting, appearing in the film Teefa in Trouble and television projects such as Tanaa Banaa, Baarwan Khiladi, Standup Girl and Faraar. He has also appeared in the drama Zanjeerain.

The younger brother of singer and actor Ali Zafar, Danyal has continued to establish himself in Pakistan’s entertainment industry through his work in both music and acting.
