ISLAMABAD: (Sports Desk) – Daniyal Ejaz claimed the top position at the Marka-e-Haq Independence Cup Tinpin Bowling Championship 2026, scoring 518 points across three games in Islamabad on Saturday.
Fahim finished as runner-up with 514 points and an average of 171.33, while Zeeshan secured third place after accumulating 513 points at an average of 171.00.
The championship was attended by US Charge d’Affaires Natalie Baker, along with several national and international personalities. Afnan Mashal attended the event as chief guest.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ejazur Rehman, President of the Pakistan Tinpin Bowling Federation, stressed the importance of expanding sporting ties between Pakistan and the United States.
Natalie Baker congratulated Ejazur Rehman and the Pakistan Tinpin Bowling Federation on successfully organising the championship.
She also assured her support for efforts to promote tinpin bowling in Pakistan and participated in the prize-distribution ceremony, presenting trophies and awards to the successful players.
The event highlighted the potential of sports diplomacy in strengthening people-to-people ties between Pakistan and the United States while providing a platform for local bowling talent to compete at the national level.
