Shakargarh: Shakargarh was thrown into disarray today as independent candidate Daniyal Aziz Chaudhry was forcefully apprehended by a heavy contingent of police officers. The arrest took place at Sanyari Mor.
Eyewitnesses reported a scene of tumult as police officers surrounded Chaudhry’s vehicle and forcibly removed him. Despite his protests, Chaudhry was taken into custody and swiftly whisked away to an undisclosed location.
Adding to the chaos, reports emerged of police brutality against members of the media who were present to cover the unfolding events. Journalists were allegedly subjected to severe physical assault, with their mobile phones confiscated by law enforcement officials.
