Cyclone Warning Issued as Deep Depression Moves Toward Arabian Sea
A severe weather alert has been issued due to a deep depression over the Indian Rann of Kutch that is expected to move into the Arabian Sea. The Meteorological Department has warned that this system, currently causing heavy low-pressure winds, could develop into a cyclone as it approaches the Sindh coast tonight or tomorrow.

The alert covers Karachi, Tharparkar, Badin, Thatta, Sajawal, Hyderabad, and Tando Muhammad Khan, where heavy rains are anticipated. The Cyclone Warning System is actively monitoring the situation.
According to Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz, the deep depression has been moving slowly and is likely to enter the Northeast Arabian Sea by late tonight or early tomorrow morning. There is a possibility that the system may strengthen into a storm by then.
Local authorities are keeping a close watch on the developing situation. The weather forecast predicts widespread rain and thunderstorms in most areas of Sindh and northeast/south Balochistan, with scattered showers expected in Punjab, Islamabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir. Heavy rainfall is also anticipated in lower Sindh, northeast and south Balochistan, parts of Punjab, the Pothohar region, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Kashmir during this period.
