Currency Rates in Pakistan – 9 February 2026

KARACHI (Web Desk) – The local foreign exchange market shows steady movement today, with major international currencies trading at firm levels. US Dollar (USD) remained strong, buying at 280.60 and selling at 282.30, while the Euro (EUR) was quoted at 330.54–333.75.

UK Pound continued to trade at higher levels, with buying at 384.67 and selling at 388.18. UAE Dirham (AED) was traded between 76.55 and 77.20, while Saudi Riyal (SAR) stood at 74.90–75.30. Other Middle Eastern currencies such as the Kuwaiti Dinar (KWD) and Bahraini Dinar (BHD) remained among the highest-valued currencies in the market.

Dollar Under Siege and the Global Financial Shift

Japanese Yen (JPY) traded at 1.78–1.88, the Indian Rupee (INR) at 2.80–3.31, and the Chinese Yuan (CNY) at 38–40. The Australian Dollar (AUD) and Canadian Dollar (CAD) also showed stable trends.

European currencies including the Swiss Franc (CHF), Danish Krone (DKK), Norwegian Krone (NOK), and Swedish Krona (SEK) recorded minor fluctuations, reflecting balanced demand and supply conditions.

Market analysts say exchange rates remain largely stable amid steady demand for major currencies, advising travelers and traders to monitor daily movements for better conversion opportunities.
