CSS 2026 Exams to Begin from February 4

FPSC Announces CSS 2026 Written Examination Schedule Nationwide

LAHORE (Web Desk) – Aspirants of the Central Superior Services (CSS) have received a major update as the Federal Public Service Commission has officially released the date sheet for the CSS 2026 written examinations. As per the announced schedule, the examinations will begin on February 4, 2026, marking the start of a crucial phase for thousands of candidates nationwide.

The opening day will feature the English Essay paper, followed by Precis & Composition on February 5, assessing candidates’ analytical thinking and writing proficiency. The General Knowledge papers will be conducted over three days — February 6, 7, and 8 — covering key academic and analytical domains.

On February 9, candidates will appear in Islamiyat, while non-Muslim candidates will attempt Comparative Study of Religions. The examination process will then shift to optional subjects, scheduled from February 10 to February 15, with papers held in both morning and evening sessions.

FPSC has advised candidates to carefully review the date sheet, follow all examination instructions, and ensure timely access to roll number slips and exam centers. Officials cautioned that negligence in following guidelines may result in unnecessary complications.

With the countdown to CSS 2026 officially underway, aspirants are intensifying preparations for one of Pakistan’s most prestigious and competitive examinations.
