CSA Launches Executive Leadership Programme for Vice Chancellors in Collaboration with PHEC

Mr. Ghulam Fareed, Secretary, Higher Education Department (HED), Punjab, while addressing the opening ceremony as Chief Guest, remarked:

Lahore (News Desk) The Civil Services Academy (CSA), Lahore, in collaboration with the Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC), has launched a week-long Executive Academic Leadership Programme for Vice Chancellors of 23 public sector universities in Punjab. This initiative, led by CSA’s Capacity Building Wing, supports the Government of Pakistan’s vision of Uraan Pakistan and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), aiming to strengthen leadership and governance in higher education.

The programme, titled Transformative Leadership and Strategic Management, blends conceptual learning with practical engagement on university governance, strategic planning, innovation, quality enhancement, and global competitiveness.

Mr. Ghulam Fareed, Secretary, Higher Education Department (HED), Punjab, while addressing the opening ceremony as Chief Guest, remarked:

“This programme is a milestone in strengthening university leadership. I thank Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan, Chairperson PHEC, and commend CSA for hosting this important initiative under the visionary leadership of Mr. Farhan Aziz Khawaja.”

Mr. Farhan Aziz Khawaja, Director General CSA, welcomed the Vice Chancellors and emphasized:

“With such an esteemed gathering of academic leaders, our challenge was to create meaningful engagement and build a dialogue that addresses the key challenges facing our universities today.”
