Criminal Records Unveiled: Gogi Butt Faces 24 Charges Including Murder and Terrorism

The criminal histories of three notorious figures in the underworld—Khawaja Aqeel, also known as Gogi Butt, Khawaja Tareef, known as Teefi Butt, and Qaiser Butt—have emerged, unveiling a track record of serious crimes, including terrorism, murder, and robbery.

Police records indicate that Khawaja Aqeel, or Gogi Butt, has 24 cases registered against him in various Lahore police stations. These cases encompass severe offenses such as terrorism, robbery, murder, and kidnapping. The earliest of these cases dates back to 1985, when he was charged with robbery. The most recent case, filed at the Ichhra police station, accuses him of orchestrating the murder of sub-inspector Shakeel Butt.

Teefi Butt faces allegations in four major cases, including a murder charge related to Ameer Balaj at the Chuhng police station.

Qaiser Butt, another infamous figure in Lahore’s gang conflict, has eight cases against him across different police stations, including charges of terrorism, murder, and robbery. He has also been implicated in the murder of Javed Butt, who was Teefi Butt’s brother-in-law.

In September, Ameer Musab, the brother of the slain Ameer Balaj Tipu, released a video statement appealing for justice from the Lahore capital city police officer. In the video, Ameer Musab claimed that Gogi and Teefi Butt were conspiring to kill him and his younger brother, alleging the involvement of a Punjab Police DSP in this conspiracy.

He stated that the purpose of his video was to highlight the long history of violence his family has endured. According to Musab, his family has suffered targeted killings for the past 30 years, with several members falling victim to such violence. He accused Teefi Butt of orchestrating the murder of his grandfather through proclaimed offenders and stated that his father was killed in 2010, followed by his brother Ameer Balaj in 2024.

“My family has been living through these tragedies for decades, and we cannot endure any more losses,” Ameer Musab said. He questioned the authorities about the whereabouts of the suspects behind these murders, asserting that Gogi and Teefi Butt were responsible for the deaths of his grandfather, father, and brother.

“My family cannot take any more losses,” he insisted, urging the authorities to swiftly apprehend Teefi and Gogi Butt.
