Islamabad/ Lahore_During the ongoing crackdown against gas pilferers, SNGPL continued raids in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad, disconnecting another 7,144 domestic and 26 commercial connections while imposing fine of Rs. 46.3 million.
In Peshawar, the company disconnected 65 connections on account of direct use of gas and illegal connections while fine of 190,680 rupees was imposed on account of gas theft. The regional team also lodged 04 FIRs against gas thieves. In Rawalpindi the regional team disconnected 07 gas connections while imposing fine of Rs. 110, 000 on gas theft. SNGPL’s team in Mardan also disconnected 04 gas connections on illegal use of gas. while imposing fine of Rs. 529,000.
In Sialkot, the company disconnected 01 connection on use of compressor and 08 disconnected due to illegal use. In Sadogha the company disconnected 01 connection on use of compressor and 05 disconnected due to illegal use. while imposing fine of Rs.12,897. The regional team in Gujranwala disconnected 13 connections on illegal use of gas. The region also imposed fine of Rs. 178,000 on gas theft.
In Gujrat, 02 connections were disconnected on illegal use of gas. In Islamabad, the company disconnected 02 connections on illegal use of gas. In Sahiwal, 06 connections were disconnected on illegal use. The fine of Rs. 77,000 was imposed on gas theft. The regional team in Faisalabad disconnected 12 connections on gas theft. The regional team also lodged 01 FIR against gas thieves Fine of Rs. 143,012 was also imposed against gas pilferers.
In Lahore, the regional team disconnected 15 connections on illegal use of gas theft. The regional team also lodged 06 FIR against gas thieves and 02 culprits Arrested. The region also imposed fine of Rs. 302,000 on gas theft. In Bahawalpur, the regional team disconnected 10 connections on use of compressor while another One on gas theft. The company disconnected 08 connections on use of compressor in Multan. The regional team in Multan disconnected 21 connections on gas theft. The regional team imposed fine of Rs. 118,000 against gas pilferers. In Sheikhupura, 06 connections were disconnected by the region.
