Court Grants Fawad Chaudhry Permission to Travel Abroad

Fawad Chaudhry criticized the current state of lawlessness and political turmoil in Pakistan, urging for political stability through inclusive dialogue.

ISLAMABAD: Former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry has been granted a two-week reprieve by the Islamabad High Court, allowing him to travel abroad from August 10 to 24. Chief Justice Amir Farooq presided over the hearing where the court temporarily removed Chaudhry’s name from the travel ban list, citing lack of evidence in ongoing cases against him.

In his address to the media following the court’s decision, Fawad Chaudhry criticized the current state of lawlessness and political turmoil in Pakistan, urging for political stability through inclusive dialogue. He highlighted concerns over rising living costs, particularly electricity bills affecting the common man and salaried class.
