ECP Rejects Political Party Criticism and Resignation Demand
The complaint references former Rawalpindi Commissioner Liaquat Chatta’s revelation that 70,000 votes were allegedly rigged in each constituency to ensure a victory for the PML-N, implicating the Chief Election Commissioner and Chief Justice in the process. It further accuses the Election Commission of depriving PTI of its electoral symbol and disqualifying its nominated candidates from using the party name, affecting over 120 million voters.
The complaint requests an inquiry into the allegations against the Chief Election Commissioner and members, and if proven, their removal from office.
