Cold and Dry Weather Expected with Rain and Snowfall in Several Areas

ISLAMABAD: The weather department has issued a new forecast, predicting a cold and dry season, with chances of rain and snowfall in several areas.

According to the Meteorological Department, most plain regions are expected to experience cold and dry weather today, while light rain and snowfall are likely in the upper regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and nearby mountainous areas, accompanied by strong winds.

The department also noted that rain and snowfall have already occurred in areas like Kashmir, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Murree, and Galiyat, while light fog is expected in northeastern Punjab.

Yesterday, the minimum temperatures recorded were as follows: Leh at 10°C, Quetta at -8°C, Kalam at -6°C, Quetta at -5°C, Astore at -4°C, and temperatures in Hunza, Dir, Murree, Parachinar, and Skardu reached -3°C.
