COAS General Asim Munir Receives Warm Welcome from Overseas Pakistanis in Washington DC

Rawalpindi: Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), is currently on an official visit to the United States. As part of his engagements, the Army Chief met with the Overseas Pakistani community in Washington DC, where he was warmly received by a large gathering of expatriates.

The overseas Pakistanis expressed their strong admiration and support for the Armed Forces of Pakistan, particularly acknowledging their exceptional performance during Operation Bunyanum Marsoos / Marka-e-Haq. The community praised the professionalism, courage, and sacrifices of the military personnel in defending the country.

During the interaction, COAS General Asim Munir expressed deep appreciation for the overseas Pakistanis, recognizing their crucial role as ambassadors of Pakistan. He lauded their contributions to the nation’s economy through remittances and investments, as well as their achievements in various professional fields, which have enhanced Pakistan’s global image.
