CMF Phone 1 Starts Receiving Android 16-Based Nothing OS 4.0

ISLAMABAD: Nothing has released the stable version of Nothing OS 4.0, based on Android 16, for the CMF Phone 1. The update is now rolling out to users in phases. According to Nothing, Nothing OS 4.0 delivers a more refined and personal experience.
The company says the update introduces visual refreshes, deeper system-wide customization options, and improvements aimed at making everyday use smoother and more comfortable. Nothing has been shared with a detailed breakdown of what’s new in the update.

Update Availability for Other Devices
Nothing confirmed that the rollout will expand to more devices soon. The CMF Phone 2 Pro is scheduled to receive the Nothing OS 4.0 update in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, the Nothing Phone (3a) Lite is expected to start getting the update at the beginning of January. Nothing didn’t share an exact timeline for each region, as the rollout is being handled in stages.
