Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said the provincial government decided to form a commission to dig into the threats as alleged by ex-PM Imran Khan,
The action will be taken on the recommendations of the commission, the CM said in a tweet.
Imran Khan has been on a protest drive since his ouster from the prime minister’s house through a no-confidence motion in April last year.
He has been calling for snap polls alleging the regime change was the result of a US-back conspiracy. However, the US denied any wrongdoing.
Recently, he claimed without providing evidence that the threat to his life was greater than before.
