CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz vows to make plastic-free province

Maryam Nawaz highlighted that a culture of following environmental laws is being established in markets and factories to eliminate plastic use.

LAHORE:  Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has expressed her government’s resolve to make the province plastic-free, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In her message on Plastic Bag Free Day on Thursday, Maryam Nawaz said the government is actively promoting the use of eco-friendly cloth and paper bags instead of plastic ones.

Maryam Nawaz highlighted that a culture of following environmental laws is being established in markets and factories to eliminate plastic use.

She said provincial government is introducing eco-friendly and recyclable alternatives in the province.
