Rajanpur: (Web Desk) – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced that poor families across the province will be provided with three to five acres of government agricultural land under the Apna Khet, Apna Rozgar programme,.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of electric bus services in Rajanpur, Maryam Nawaz said Punjab had undergone a major transformation over the past two years, adding that no district would be left behind in the development process. She emphasized that uplifting underdeveloped areas remains a top priority of the Punjab government and declared that Rajanpur’s long-standing deprivation is coming to an end.
The Chief Minister announced that electric buses, currently operating in Lahore, will soon run in Rajanpur as well, ensuring improved and affordable transport facilities for local residents. She said electric buses would operate on all routes in Rajanpur and revealed that 1,100 more electric buses are being introduced across Punjab.

Maryam Nawaz said modern transport facilities are now reaching the doorsteps of the people, reflecting the government’s commitment to equitable development throughout the province.
Criticizing the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, the Chief Minister said awareness alone cannot replace basic necessities such as food, medicine, education, and employment. She remarked that people cannot fill their stomachs or send their children to school through slogans alone and accused the KP administration of depriving people of their fundamental rights.
She further stated that a government that consumes the rights and progress of its people is a “fake government.” Responding to criticism over her use of aircraft, Maryam Nawaz said planes do not land in Adiala, adding that those who lecture others on simplicity often send their own children abroad to live in comfort.
