CM Naqvi & AJK Minister discuss to increase Kashmiris Student Quota in Punjab institutions
Naqvi assured Minister that Punjab govt stands ready to fully cooperate with AJK in various domains.
Lahore: The Minister for Social Welfare and Women Development of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Syed Bazal Ali Naqvi has engaged in discussions with Punjab’s caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Wednesday in Lahore. The leaders delved into the prevailing situation in Occupied Kashmir, political dynamics, and shared concerns of mutual interest.
Chief Minister Punjab Syed Mohsin Naqvi emphasized the emotional bond between the people of Pakistan and the Kashmir issue, echoing Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s sentiment that Kashmir is the “artery of Pakistan.” He pledged unwavering political, diplomatic, and moral support until Kashmiris achieve their right to self-determination. Notably, General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of the Pakistan Army, brought the Kashmir issue to the forefront during his visit to America.
Expressing solidarity, Naqvi assured Naqvi (Syed Bazal Ali) that the Punjab government stands ready to fully cooperate with Azad Kashmir in various domains. In response, Minister Syed Bazal Ali Naqvi conveyed gratitude, emphasizing the deep love Kashmiris harbor for Pakistan and their steadfast goal of integration.

Paying tribute to General Syed Asim Munir for his bold stance on Kashmir, Naqvi acknowledged the increased resilience among Kashmiris. He advocated for a boost in the quota of Kashmiri students in Punjab’s educational institutions and urged enhanced institutional cooperation between Punjab and Azad Kashmir.
Syed Bazal Ali Naqvi, referring to Punjab as a “big brother,” highlighted his emotional attachment to Lahore, the city of saints and the intellectual hub associated with Hazrat Allama Iqbal. He appealed for stronger ties, emphasizing Lahore’s special place in their hearts.
