CM Maryam Nawaz Orders Accelerated Completion of Lahore’s Controlled Access Corridor
Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has mandated the expedited completion of the Controlled Access Corridor Bund Road Project, setting a deadline for July.
During her visit, CM Maryam Nawaz personally inspected the service roads from Sigiyan Interchange to Babu Sabu and the elevated Bund Road. She emphasized the urgent need to finalize the project, which has been causing significant inconvenience to the public.

DGLDA Tahir Farooq and Chief Engineer LDA Asrar Saeed briefed the Chief Minister on the project’s progress, assuring that the high-rise section of Package Two will soon be fully opened to traffic.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz highlighted the importance of addressing the issues faced by residents due to the ongoing construction, stressing that both the controlled access corridor and the service roads must be prioritized for swift completion.
