CM Maryam Nawaz Commends Spirit of Sacrifice and Inclusion of Women in Forces
CM Punjab expressed her delight at learning that among the 860 graduates, 70 are women.
Lahore- Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, extended her heartfelt congratulations to the newly graduated recruits of the Elite Force Punjab.
Maryam Nawaz attended the passing out parade of the Lahore Elite Force Punjab as the chief guest, donning the police uniform herself. In her address, she remarked on the significance of the event, celebrating the graduation of 860 Elite Force personnel. “It is an immense pleasure to be part of this ceremony. Hearing you take the oath gave me goosebumps. Whether it’s me or you, I believe this is a great responsibility bestowed upon a few,” she said.
She expressed her delight at learning that among the 860 graduates, 70 are women. “I congratulate their parents, and it fills me with pride to see our nation’s daughters standing shoulder to shoulder with their male counterparts in service. Whenever I see a martyr, I reflect on the profound spirit of sacrifice that parents instill in their children, willing to lay down their lives for the country. I salute this spirit,” Maryam added.
