PESHAWAR: Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur, has unveiled a significant administrative reform by announcing the creation of a separate secretariat for the Kohat, Bannu, and DI Khan divisions.
The initiative, aimed at enhancing governance and service delivery in the southern districts, assigns Additional Chief Secretary Home Department the new role of Additional Chief Secretary South. Abid Majeed has been entrusted with the task of establishing the secretariat and directorate for all departments in these regions.
As part of the reform, comprehensive proposals will be developed to amend the rules of business, financial management, and planning to streamline service delivery. The Additional Chief Secretary South will report directly to the Chief Minister, ensuring a focused and efficient administrative framework.
