CM KP Ali Amin Should resign if he can’t ensure law and order: Imran Khan
Imran Khan’s Jail Privileges Restored, Speaks to Children Over Phone
Islamabad – The jail privileges of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan have been reinstated, sources confirmed on Friday. Khan has been allowed access to books and newspapers once again, and was also permitted a one-hour phone conversation with his children.
During the call, Khan reportedly told his children they were welcome to visit him in prison. He mentioned that he had learned during the call that their National Identity Cards for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOPs) had expired. “I never said my children would come to Pakistan to join any protest movement,” Khan was quoted as saying.
Imran Khan’s sister, Aleema Khan, also clarified that he did not stop his children from visiting Pakistan, adding that their NICOPs had been lost, not expired.

In a separate development, Khan distanced himself from Aleema Khan’s remarks regarding Malala Yousafzai’s recent appointment as a senator. He termed her comments “unnecessary” and said she should avoid making political statements.
On political affairs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Khan expressed disappointment with Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur. He said that if Gandapur fails to maintain law and order or address governance issues in the province, he should step down and let someone else take charge.
