Chief Minister Punjab Hamza Shahbaz took a notice of a torture incident on TLP candidate Iftikhar Ahmad Khan Baloch from PP 125 constituency in the area of Jhang and sought a report from the Inspector General of Police.CM ordered to ensure early arrest of the accused found involved in committing torture. Hamza Shahbaz directed to bring the accused into the stern grip of law to take further action and fulfil all the requirements of justice.CM directed to provide best treatment facilities to Iftikhar Ahmad Khan Baloch being subjected to torture. Meanwhile The Punjab government has issued a notification to increase the salaries of employees of grades 1 to 19.
a regular notification has been issued by the Punjab Finance Department on Wednesday.
Under the special allowance, the salaries of the employees of various provincial departments will be increased.
As per the notification, the allowance will not be given to the officers and employees of the civil secretariat, Chief Minister’s House, and police department.
The allowance will be available to government employees from March 1, 2022.
