Climate Action, Regional Unity Key Themes in PM Shehbaz’s ECO Summit Address

Premier welcomes Azerbaijan’s interest in investing in Pakistan, calling it positive development

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in his keynote address at the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Summit in Khankandi on Friday, emphasized the need for enhanced regional cooperation, urgent climate action, and collective resolve against destabilizing forces.

He congratulated Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev for successfully hosting the summit and thanked him for the warm hospitality in the historic and picturesque city of Khankandi. PM Shehbaz also commended the leadership of Kazakhstan’s president, the current ECO chairman, for advancing the organization’s regional collaboration efforts.
