Civil Armed Forces Demand Special Allowance Announced for Military in Budget

Special allowance should be extended to all officers, officials, and equivalent personnel across all departments.

Islamabad — The Civil Armed Forces have formally requested the Interior Ministry for the special allowance announced in the budget for the military, which includes a 50% and 20% increase.

According to private TV sources, the Civil Armed Forces have submitted an application seeking approval for the special allowance similar to that granted to the army. The request states that Civil Armed Forces personnel play a crucial role in protecting borders, maintaining internal security, and supporting Pakistan Army operations. Therefore, the special allowance should be extended to all officers, officials, and equivalent personnel across all departments.

Government sources confirmed that Sindh Rangers, Punjab Rangers, Gilgit-Baltistan Scouts, Frontier Corps (South and North Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), and Frontier Corps North Balochistan have also applied for the special allowance.

The demand highlights the vital contributions of civil armed forces alongside the military and calls for equitable financial recognition in the upcoming budget allocations.
