Letin Auto, or Levdeo Automobile Group, had its Chinese bankruptcy proceedings completed in 2023 and reorganized in 2024.

General Manager Xu Zhen led a 15-member delegation to meet Punjab’s Minister for Industries and Commerce, Chaudhry Shafay Hussain, in Lahore to negotiate the project and potential incentives.

The minister pledged complete support of the provincial government, mentioning that investors in Special Economic Zones would enjoy a 10-year tax holiday on income and duty-free import of machinery.

Hussain mentioned that the new investment not only secured the economy of Punjab but also produced employment opportunities.

He further added that the government was focusing on clean mobility, with Punjab targeting to spearhead Pakistan’s transition to EVs.
