Chief Justice Afridi urges harmony between judges and lawyers.
A United Front for Justice: CJP Stresses Collaboration and Technology
Pakistan -(Special Correspondent / Web Desk) – Chief Justice of Pakistan Yahya Afridi spoke this Saturday. He asked for a friendly and united relationship between judges and lawyers all over the country. He said this teamwork is essential to protect the rule of law.
He was speaking at a judges’ conference in Muzaffarabad. The Chief Justice said he was happy to see the strong connection between the legal communities of Pakistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK). He promised the full support of Pakistan’s Supreme Court to the AJK judiciary.
Justice Afridi had three key points for judges and lawyers in AJK moving forward. His first point was simple: the most important person in any case is the citizen seeking justice. Their needs must come first.
His second point focused on partnership. He stated that the relationship between judges and lawyers must always be friendly, positive, and thoughtful. He stressed that without this strong partnership, protecting the rule of law or making any improvements would be very difficult.

Finally, his third point was about modern tools. He said technology must be used in the court system. Using technology is the only way to make justice efficient, clear, and focused on serving the people.
The Chief Justice also mentioned that Supreme Court Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar will help the AJK courts with their technology upgrades. He assured them that Pakistan’s Supreme Court is ready to share knowledge, provide technical help, and work together. The goal is to make justice stronger and easier to access for everyone.
