Chaudhry Naeem Akhtar strongly condemned KFC Incident

International: Chaudhry Naeem Akhtar strongly condemned KFC Incident . Chairman Jammu & Kashmir Forum France, central member of the Muslim League N, and former Coordinator of the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir for Europe, Chaudhry Naeem Akhtar, strongly condemned the incident involving the breaking, burning, and surrounding of KFC Mirpur, as well as the assault on its employees. He demanded that the Azad Kashmir government arrest all the culprits immediately and ensure they receive appropriate punishment, in order to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future. During his conversation with the media, he expressed that Chaudhry Muhammad Saeed has provided all necessary facilities to the citizens of Mirpur, proven that he is a public leader. However, he lamented that Mirpur’s peace is being disrupted due to a deep conspiracy. Akhtar expressed deep regret for the injuries sustained by KFC employees, including distric administration officers and police officers, emphasizing that mere condemnation is insufficient.

He highlighted that such type of incident has never occurred in Mirpur’s history before, and he underscored that spreading fear and intimidation within Mirpur is unacceptable. Akhtar attributed the incident to the incompetence of the district administration and urged the Azad Kashmir government to form a high-level committee to conduct immediate investigations and bring the perpetrators to justice.
He noted that the KFC incident has caused severe anxiety among expatriates in the country, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the law and allowing agencies to enforce it effectively. Akhtar characterized the KFC attack as an assault on Mirpur’s reputation, warning of its negative impact on investment. He asserted that it is the responsibility of the Azad Kashmir government to safeguard the business community and called for a transparent and thorough inquiry into the incident to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
