CCD Encounters in Lahore Leave Two Suspects Dead
Encounters were held in Allama Iqbal Town and Kotwali localities.
LAHORE: Two more suspects were killed during encounters with the Crime Control Department (CCD) on Wednesday night, bringing the total number of suspects dying during clashes with the Force to four.
The CCD officials said that following encounters in Green Town and Kahna areas of Lahore, encounters were held in Allama Iqbal Town and Kotwali localities.
They added that during an encounter in Iqbal Town, one Usman Khalid was killed, while in another encounter that took place in Kotwali, Qasim was killed.

The officials informed that both suspects, who were in their custody, were being taken for recovery and identification when an encounter took place with their accomplices.
Consequently, they were killed by their own accomplices’ firing, they said.
Earlier, in the first encounter that took place at Saddar locality of the city, Babar Ali was killed, while in the second encounter that took place at Kahna, Nazir was killed.
However, in all these encounters, CCD personnel and their vehicles remained safe.
