CBD Punjab’s NSIT City Marks Major Tech Milestone with STZ License, 55% Work Complete on Celesta IT Tower

Lahore — The Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA), commonly known as CBD Punjab, continues to play a key role in the province’s economic transformation. Among its flagship initiatives, CBD NSIT City (New Smart Industrial & IT City) has shown remarkable development, positioning itself as a future tech hub of Pakistan.

A major milestone has been achieved with NSIT City being awarded a Special Technology Zone Development License, paving the way for advanced digital infrastructure and international investment. The under-construction 19-storey Celesta IT Tower has reached 55% completion, while CBD Punjab also unveiled its visually striking elevation design.

According to CBD Punjab, 25% of the overall infrastructure development in NSIT City has been completed, adhering to global standards. All four plots of the residential zone have been successfully auctioned. Additionally, a key agreement has been signed for establishing the NSIT City Astra Block Data Center. The Silicon Block, designated and approved by the Special Technology Zones Authority (STZA), has already sold 90% of its plots, reflecting strong investor confidence.

NSIT City is set to revolutionize the IT landscape of Punjab, ushering in a new era of innovation and technological advancement. As part of its future plans, Pakistan’s first-ever Punjab Film City will also be launched within NSIT City following government approval.
