BSF Firing Kasur Leaves Two Pakistani Citizens Martyred, One Injured
Security sources say three unarmed villagers from Ladhar were shot without warning near the international border, just a day after the ISPR exposed an alleged Indian false-flag claim.
BSF – (Staff Reporter/Web Desk) – BSF firing Kasur has left two Pakistani citizens martyred and one injured near the international border, security sources said on Friday. The sources say Indian Border Security Force personnel opened fire without any provocation.
The three men belong to Ladhar village in Punjab. According to the sources, they had moved only a few steps ahead of a border pillar when the firing began. They say no warning was given before the shots were fired.
Security sources also said all three men were unarmed. They added that none of them tried to cross the border fence.
The sources named the two men who lost their lives as Azmat Rasool Shah and Mohsin Jutt. Both lived in Jattan Wali Haveli, a locality in Ladhar village. The condition of the injured man has not been shared in detail so far.
The sources described the incident as a clear violation of the border agreement. They said it also breaks the standard operating procedures that both sides are expected to follow along the frontier.
Border rules are meant to keep tension low. Under normal practice, forces are expected to warn people and use restraint, especially when those involved are civilians and do not carry weapons. The sources say that did not happen here.

Security sources also pointed to how the incident was reported across the border. They said some Indian media described the three civilians as infiltrators. In their view, this fits a pattern of presenting such incidents as false-flag operations.
The firing came just one day after another claim from India was challenged in public. Pakistan’s military said it had exposed a false-flag operation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. India had claimed that it killed a former Pakistani soldier in a staged encounter.
To prove the claim wrong, Inter-Services Public Relations Director-General Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry held a press conference. He presented Havildar Muhammad Asif before the media. Asif is a retired Special Services Group commando.
Asif told reporters himself that he was alive and living in Pakistan. His appearance, the military said, showed that the Indian claim about his death was false.
Many readers are now linking the two events because they came so close together. Security sources say the pattern suggests a push to build a false story around border incidents. These are the claims of Pakistani security sources, and no independent confirmation has been shared so far.
For the families in Ladhar, the loss is deeply personal. Two households are mourning, and one family is waiting for news about an injured loved one. Villagers near the border often work close to the line, so incidents like this create fear in the community.
Further details are expected as officials share more information. This report will be updated as new facts about the BSF firing in Kasur become available.
