BISE Lahore Issues Revised Exam Schedule After Postponements Due to Regional Tensions
No New Roll Number Slips for Rescheduled BISE Lahore Exams
LAHORE: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has released a revised schedule for matriculation and intermediate examinations that were postponed earlier due to rising tensions between Pakistan and India.
According to the updated notification, practical exams for Matric students originally scheduled for May 7 — including Biology, Computer Science, and Food & Nutrition — will now be held on May 17. Additionally, the practical exams that were due on May 9, covering Biology, Computer Science, and Arts, have been rescheduled for May 24.
The intermediate exam for Tarjuma-tul-Quran, initially set for May 9, will now take place on May 31, while the Islamiyat and Accounting exams that were postponed on May 7 are now scheduled for June 16.
In a statement, the Controller of Examinations at BISE Lahore clarified that no new roll number slips will be issued for the revised dates. Students are instructed to use their existing roll number slips to appear in the rescheduled exams.
All exams will be held at the originally assigned examination centres, and students are strongly advised to follow the revised timetable strictly.
