Bill Gates Withdraws from India AI Impact Summit Keynote

New Delhi: (Web Desk)-  Bill Gates will no longer deliver his keynote address at the India AI Impact Summit on Thursday, organisers confirmed, marking another setback for an event already facing organisational challenges, a robot malfunction, and delegate complaints over VIP traffic disruptions.

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation said Gates will not speak “to ensure the focus remains on the AI Summit’s key priorities.” No further reason was provided for the sudden cancellation.

Bill Gates Denies Epstein Island Claims in Newly Released Files

The decision comes after the US Department of Justice last month released emails revealing communications between Gates Foundation staff and the late financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The documents suggest that Gates met Epstein multiple times after his prison term to discuss expanding philanthropic initiatives. Gates has maintained that these meetings were strictly related to philanthropy and admitted that engaging with Epstein was a mistake.

Founded in 2000 by Gates and his then-wife, the Gates Foundation is one of the world’s largest funders of global health initiatives. Gates continues to serve as chair and board member of the foundation.
