Bilawal Bhutto Vows to Stand Firm Against Constitutional Violations & Anti-Democratic Forces

Islamabad: During a session of the National Assembly, Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto has delivered a resolute address affirming his commitment to upholding constitutional values and defending democracy against those who seek to undermine it. He called for a thorough examination of eighteen ministries, which collectively incur an annual expenditure of 328 billion rupees. Bhutto criticized the absence of Pakistan Peoples Party ministers in the government, highlighting the need for a more inclusive representation of all political stakeholders.

During the session, Bhutto also advocated for the abolition of subsidies amounting to 1.5 trillion rupees allocated to the elite, emphasizing the need for equitable distribution of resources. Asad Qaiser Calls for Judicial Commission on Saifur’s Case

Former Speaker of the National Assembly, Asad Qaiser, has demanded the formation of a judicial commission to investigate the Saifur and May 9th cases.

During his address at the National Assembly session, Asad Qaiser stated that the Supreme Court should establish a judicial commission to probe the Saifur case. He alleged that an American diplomat had exerted undue influence on the Pakistani government, resulting in the targeting of Saifur as a foundation to initiate cases against Prime Minister Imran Khan. Qaiser highlighted the sequence of events, including the labeling of Saifur as dishonest followed by punitive actions against Imran Khan. He warned those who instill fear, stating that the time for intimidation has passed.

Qaiser revealed his longstanding association with Imran Khan, spanning 29 years, emphasizing Khan’s steadfast adherence to principles without engaging in opportunistic deals. He disclosed attempts to pressure him into forming a new party, asserting his unwavering loyalty to Imran Khan.

Addressing concerns regarding the recent elections, Qaiser pledged to unite all parties with reservations under the banner of constitutional and democratic integrity.
