ISLAMABAD: In the Big Bash League, Brisbane Heat have added Pakistani pacer Zaman Khan to the squad as a replacement for injured fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi.
The 24-year-old Zaman Khan has been cleared as an international replacement player for the remaining matches of the KFC Big Bash League. He will be available on Saturday for the match at Geebah Stadium against his former team, Sydney Thunder.
Zaman previously represented Sydney Thunder in the 13th season of the Big Bash League, taking eight wickets in four matches at an average of 16.38. He has played 10 T20 Internationals and one ODI for Pakistan and represents Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League, where Shaheen Afridi is the captain.
Zaman Khan recently played in the Abu Dhabi T10 tournament, where he took a hat-trick in his very first match. He has also represented teams in the Pakistan Super League, Big Bash League, and England’s The Hundred with Manchester Originals.
