Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko receives guard of honor at PM’s House

ISLAMABAD: Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko arrived at the Prime Minister’s House in Islamabad today, where he was warmly received by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. During his visit, President Lukashenko was presented with a formal Guard of Honor.

The official ceremony saw the Belarusian leader inspecting the Guard of Honor, accompanied by Prime Minister Sharif. Afterward, President Lukashenko planted a sapling in the grounds of the Prime Minister’s House, symbolizing the growing ties between the two nations.

President Lukashenko had arrived in Islamabad the previous day for a three-day official visit. He was given a warm reception upon landing at Noor Khan Air Base, where Prime Minister Sharif personally welcomed the distinguished guest.

The visit is expected to strengthen bilateral relations between Pakistan and Belarus, with discussions on a range of political and economic issues anticipated during the stay.
