Rawalpindi;(Sports Reporter)–Beaconhouse Harley Street Campus, Rawalpindi held an investiture ceremony witnessing the proud coronation of its young leaders as the members of the new student council for the session 2022-23. The most auspicious Investiture Ceremony was held with full zeal, zest and enthusiasm this evening. The Investiture Ceremony is one of the momentous occasions when the school entrusts hope, faith and the mantle of responsibility to the newly appointed school council. This ceremony signifies the reliance and confidence that the school consigns in the newly office bearers.
The honourable Chief Guest, Mr Khwaja Haider Latif, Regional Director North of Beaconhouse Group, congratulated the role models and advised them to fulfil their responsibilities sincerely as the nation builders of tomorrow. He also advised the students to inculcate the values of punctuality, dedication, discipline and determination as they are the torch bearers of tomorrow. Chief Guest, Ms. Ayehsa Sohail, Principal and Cluster Convener at BSS, congratulated the council members and rightly remarked that leadership does not mean enjoyment of one’s power, rather, it is a means to empower others. The school Head Mistress Ms. Sumeriah Naveed felicitated the parents and congratulated the students; appreciating the confidence and clarity in thoughts which the office bearers had exhibited during their selection process and wished that they work not just for the betterment and growth of their fellow students but for their personal growth as well.
The school Head Boy Hasan Raza, Head Girl, Eshal Naeem along with the Deputy head boy, Deputy head girl, Captains, Vice Captains of all the four houses, Sports leaders, secretaries and monitors, Club representatives were conferred with badges, sashes and arm bands. The programme was a grand success as one the parents beaming with pride said “ The ceremony was very well-conducted and made me tear up with pride. ” The parents attending the occasion were ecstatic and appreciated how well disciplined and well organised the event was.
