Cambridge: Former Pakistani federal minister and barrister Shehzad Akbar was injured in an attack at his residence in Cambridge early this morning.

According to initial reports, a man aged between 25 and 30 allegedly assaulted Barrister Shehzad Akbar, repeatedly striking him in the face. As a result of the attack, he sustained fractures to his nose and jaw and was shifted to a hospital for medical treatment.

Local police reached the scene, recorded statements, and collected necessary details. Authorities have confirmed that an investigation is underway to determine the circumstances and motive behind the incident.
