Bail Granted, But No Release: Info Minister
Isalamabad-(Mudassar Iqbal)-Information Minister has stated that despite Imran Khan being granted bail in the Toshakhana case, there is no chance of his release. The Islamabad High Court granted Imran Khan bail against two surety bonds worth Rs1 million each, which must be submitted by separate guarantors ¹. However, the Minister’s statement suggests that Imran Khan’s freedom remains uncertain.
Tarar said the state gifts case against the PTI founder was being heard in trial court and there was sufficient evidence available against Imran in the case.
He said the PTI founder was not granted bail in eight cases related to May 9 violent protests.
