Bail for Bushra Bibi and Omar Ayub is extended again.

A special court grants protection from arrest until the next hearing in November.

Islamabad—(Special Correspondent/Web Desk) – A special court in Islamabad has extended protection from arrest for Bushra Bibi and opposition leader Omar Ayub. The order is connected to protests that happened last November, including one outside the Supreme Court.

During Monday’s hearing, the judge allowed several leaders to be absent from court. The court told police not to arrest any of the people named in these cases until the next hearing on November 13th.

Chief Justice Afridi speaks at a key judicial conference today.

The court is looking at a large number of protection requests from PTI party leaders. Everyone involved must give their arguments at the next court date. These legal cases are filed at multiple police stations across the city.
