Bahria Town property auction moved to old bench

CJP bench delays hearing, no date announced yet

Bahria Town- (Special Correspondent/Web desk) Bahria Town’s appeal against the auction of its properties was scheduled to be heard by a Supreme Court bench headed by Chief Justice Yahya Afridi. But the chief justice recused himself and referred the matter to the earlier bench, saying it was more appropriate for that bench to handle the case.

Bahria Town’s lawyer told the court that the Islamabad High Court’s detailed judgment had now been released. He said he planned to present additional arguments, and the court allowed him to do so.US says ‘Ties with Pakistan, India Stable’, cites Washington’s role in defusing tensions

The last hearing was held before a three-member bench led by Justice Aminuddin.

The Supreme Court has now adjourned the case indefinitely, with no date set for the next hearing.
