The Lahore-born batsman continues to shine with a remarkable batting average of 56.95 and a strike rate of 88.70 in One-Day Internationals.
Following closely in the rankings are India’s Rohit Sharma (765 points) and Shubman Gill (763 points), but neither has come close to matching Babar’s extraordinary rating, further solidifying his status as one of the top ODI players in the world.
In the latest ODI bowlers’ rankings, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan retains the top spot, while Pakistan’s Shaheen Shah Afridi has dropped one place to second. Despite the slight slip, Afridi remains one of the most feared bowlers in world cricket.
