Babar Azam Registers Unwanted Record in PSL 10

This latest statistic marks a rare low point in Babar Azam's otherwise stellar PSL career.

Rawalpindi – Peshawar Zalmi captain Babar Azam has added an unfortunate record to his name during the ongoing HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10. In the second match of the tournament, held at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Babar was dismissed for a duck (zero runs) by Mohammad Amir of Quetta Gladiators.

With this dismissal, Babar has now moved up in the list of players with the most ducks in PSL history, equaling former Peshawar Zalmi wicketkeeper-batsman Kamran Akmal. He has also surpassed Lahore Qalandars captain Shaheen Afridi in this regard.

The record for the most ducks in PSL still belongs to Islamabad United’s all-rounder Imad Wasim, who has been dismissed without scoring 12 times. He is followed by former Peshawar Zalmi pacer Wahab Riaz, who has 10 ducks to his name.

This latest statistic marks a rare low point in Babar Azam’s otherwise stellar PSL career.
