Azma Bokhari Criticizes PTI’s Intentions for Upcoming Protests

On Wednesday, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) established a new combined investigation team (CIT) as part of the inquiry into the Azma Bokhari fake video case.

This decision follows the Lahore High Court’s (LHC) expressed dissatisfaction with the current progress of the case. The team will be led by the deputy director of cybercrime.

Key members of the team include Inspector Yaqoob Ali, Yasir Ramzan, and Shafqat Ehsan.

Daily investigation reports will be submitted to Additional Secretary Sarfraz Chaudhry.

Azma Bokhari Criticizes CM Gandapur

In a separate development, Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari criticized Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, accusing him of “conspiring against the federation.”

Lashing out at CM Gandapur, Bokhari said: “CM Gandapur’s yesterday meeting with the Afghan consul general was openly a revolt against the federation.”.

She questioned: “Why is Ali Amin Gandapur doing all this? Who is giving instructions to Gandapur?

Bokhari directed criticism at the PTI, stating, “The party that has instigated unrest is now attempting to recreate the events of the 2014 protest.”

She added, “The PTI’s planned public gathering in Islamabad and Gandapur’s meeting with the Afghan consul general suggest preparations for upcoming actions next month.”
