Azerbaijan Media Leader Visits Azad Jammu Kashmir Public Relations Department

Muzaffarabad — Almaz Mahmood Nasibova, Head of Azerbaijan’s Media and Information Literacy Center and Vice-Rector of the Tele-Radio Academy, AZ Television, paid an official visit to the Directorate General of Public Relations (DGPR) in Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK). She was warmly received by DGPR Raja Amjad Hussain Minhas, who provided a comprehensive briefing on the department’s operations, digital strategies, and recent achievements.

Accompanied by a delegation that included President of Azerbaijan Trade House Adeel Ahmed Butt and senior officials, Nasibova toured various sections of the DGPR. During the visit, Raja Amjad Hussain Minhas highlighted the department’s successful transition to digital platforms and its active role in countering information warfare amid recent regional tensions. “Our Emergency Information Response Center has worked tirelessly to combat Indian cyber warfare and misinformation campaigns,” he stated.

Almaz Mahmood Nasibova expressed her admiration for the excellent work being carried out by the DGPR in modern media fields. She praised the hospitality and warmth of the people of Azad Jammu Kashmir, remarking that such genuine affection is rare to find elsewhere in the world.
