Azad Kashmir PM Assures Transparency in Resource Utilization
Ming/Sidhnuti/Khaigala-(Specials Correspondent)-Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwarul Haq, recently inspected the Basic Health Unit (BHU) in Khaigala, accompanied by Minister for Higher Education, Malik Zafar Iqbal. During his visit, the Prime Minister was briefed by the District Health Officer, Poonch, on the construction of a new building for the BHU and other related matters.
Chaudhry Anwarul Haq directed the authorities to complete the BHU Khaigala as soon as possible, ensuring it becomes fully functional to provide effective health facilities to the citizens. He emphasized the importance of Khaigla as a tourist point and instructed the relevant authorities to make the area favorable for tourists, promoting tourism and creating employment opportunities.
The Prime Minister reiterated his government’s commitment to transparent resource utilization, stating that state resources are being used in a better and transparent manner. He assured that he is personally overseeing development projects to end the suffering of the people.
Chaudhry Anwarul Haq announced the allocation of 10 billion rupees to complete the Tuli Peer Road, facilitating easy access for tourists. He interacted with various delegations during his visit to Poonch, including senior leaders of Muslim Conference District Poonch, Jamaat-e-Islami Poonch, and Councilors of Municipal Corporation Rawalkot.
The Prime Minister assured the delegations of his commitment to public welfare and addressing regional issues. He emphasized promoting tourism in Rawalkot, acknowledging the conscious and wise approach of the local population in facing challenges.
At a public meeting in Mang, Chaudhry Anwarul Haq honored the martyrs who freed the region, sacrificing their lives and giving the idea of Pakistan’s accession. He reiterated Pakistan’s importance in the Islamic world and condemned India’s mock elections in Occupied Kashmir.
The Prime Minister vowed to protect Kashmir’s identity and warned that if Indian Prime Minister Modi does not stop atrocities in Occupied Kashmir, he will face consequences. Chaudhry Anwarul Haq invited people from all schools of thought to work together for the welfare of the state and its people.
He announced a historic development package for Poonch, including establishing Ming Town Committee, Civil Judge Court, addressing staff shortages in Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, appointing a gynecologist, upgrading educational institutions and health centers, and installing street lights in Ming town.
Chaudhry Anwarul Haq emphasized the strong army and economically strong countries’ importance. He highlighted the need to reform attitudes and keep the municipal corporation active. The Prime Minister assured that his government will provide ample resources to solve problems and will not allow harm to the ideology of martyrs.
Government ministers, leaders from various parties, and local representatives praised the Prime Minister’s commitment to serving the people and promoting development in Azad Kashmir. Sardar Muhammad Hussain Advocate Khan said Chaudhry Anwarul Haq has become the heartbeat of the people.
Maulana Saeed Yusuf Khan, chairman of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Azad Kashmir, praised the Prime Minister’s efforts to cleanse the state from corruption. Central leader of Pakistan People’s Party, Sardar Gulnawaz Khaliq Advocate, thanked the Prime Minister for his visit.
The Prime Minister’s visit demonstrated his government’s resolve to address regional issues, promote development, and ensure public welfare in Azad Kashmir.
